My career has been dedicated to integrating cutting-edge technologies—AI, IoT, digital twins, and secure platforms—with strategic business objectives to drive innovation, scale, and sustainable impact.
Professional Experience
As Chairman of SmartAvatar B.V., I lead the company’s vision at the intersection of AI, IoT, mobility and societal value. Under my leadership, SmartAvatar has emerged as a pioneer in AI edge intelligence and communication technology, securing over €11 million in EU R&D funding for 6G communications, metaverse development, and cybersecurity. We’ve launched real-time, AI-powered remote management platforms and crowd-sourced urban well-being apps, resulting in 200% YOY growth.

Previously, as Founder and CEO of TrustedMobi (VehicleAvatar Inc.), I led the design and deployment of an AI-driven mobility platform scalable for millions of connected vehicles globally. Our award-winning digital twin and OTA technologies set new standards for connected mobility and earned partnerships with major OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers across North America and Asia.

At DIMAAG-AI, I served as Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, driving the transformation from software-only to integrated AI hardware-software platforms for off-road autonomy and smart factories. I led a 30x revenue increase in two years and secured partnerships with multiple Fortune 500 firms, unlocking over $120M in new revenue.

Before that, I held dual roles as Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Global Engineering at Trillium Secure, where I led the development of AI- and blockchain-based cybersecurity solutions for connected and autonomous vehicles. My leadership was instrumental in scaling the business and contributing to its acquisition by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).

Earlier, as CTO and CMO at Movimento (later acquired by Aptiv), I spearheaded the transition from legacy automotive hardware to software-defined vehicle platforms and cloud-based OTA services. This work laid the foundation for Aptiv’s connected car strategy and helped position Movimento as a leader in the SDV ecosystem.

My journey began with research on mobile 3G technology at Nokia in Finland, where I led network architecture for GSM-Railways. I later joined Cisco, where I spent 14 years building global IoT/M2M businesses and launching multi-billion-dollar product lines across continents.
Originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, I studied in Dubai and the Netherlands, earning a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Delft University of Technology with a focus on mobile and radar communications.
